Långhus Blanket
The Långhus Blanket is knit using Bare Naked Wools ‘Stone Soup DK’. This rustic yarn provides wonderful stitch definition without a lot of weight.
The main body of this blanket was inspired by the peat bricks used to construct the recreated longhouse at L’Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland, Canada and the border was inspired by the woodwork over the doorway. Långhus is a type of Viking longhouse.
