Rhinebeck Goodness
For those of you in the know, this weekend was the time for many yarnies to make their annual pilgrimage to Rhinebeck, NY for the the event many just refer to as “Rhinebeck,” the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival.
I haven’t been able to attend the past few years but was thrilled to be there this year, inhale the yarn fumes and promote my designs.
My newest release, Flower Bell Stole, was on display in the Cephalopod Yarns booth and I couldn’t have been more proud. This sample was knit using three skeins of Skinny Bugga! in the luscious, rich shade “‘Rose Weevil.”
I attended yesterday and today, happily adding beautiful yarns to my stash while visiting with friends. Today, however, was also my time to visit the sheep and alpacas.
I drained the battery on my camera taking photos of them and I won’t post them all here since my cousin Erica took some amazing photos and has already posted them on her blog, so head on over for a fantastic dose of cute.
However, I can’t let you leave without sharing this photo with you. Seriously, who could say no to a face like this? Resistance is futile, plan a trip to Rhinebeck 2014.
