I used to work in a bookstore and I didn’t realize how much I missed going through the catalogues until I had the chance again last month. It really is a lot of fun to see what gems are out there – and it’s sad to know you might never hear about them.

Yes, the Cluny book is about the monastery. I’m really looking forward to Audrey Niffeneger – it’s another graphic novel.

Oh drat. Now I need: the book on Cluny (I assume the monastery?), Years Best Fantasy 6, both the collections of Tachyon (Suzy Mckee Charnas and James Morrow) and the Gothic Reader. And the Audrey Niffeneger.

Lucky you to get those catalogs! That is something I really miss about working in a bookstore! I enjoy going through the lists you post here,though!

Yeah, I do read a lot. Sadly, the lace is not going at all. I should really let the organizers know that I have to drop out.

Work caused some complications so my team never really got off the ground.
